Why did you choose to “Go Mixte?”: I got my start in political organizing as a student, but my love for writing took over. Although I wanted to feel like my work made some kind of substantive difference, I knew I had to follow my passion for the craft of storytelling. Mixte is the perfect marriage of those two drives.

Working at Mixte gives me the opportunity to use my skills to help people find their own voice. We have the chance to help shape change at the ground level. I get to support so many talented, dedicated people who are doing good work — and I don’t think I could ask for anything more from a job.
