Bailey’s love for community engagement and nonprofit work began in high school when she became involved with Camp del Corazon, a nonprofit organization aimed at providing experiential opportunities for children faced with challenges due to congenital heart disease. There she sparked a love for community engagement and advocacy work.

As a college student at San Diego State University, Bailey continued exploring personal and professional ways to get involved. She joined a community service fraternity whose main mission was to help aid the growing homelessness crisis in San Diego. There she developed social media content and campaigns to help spread the word.

Bailey sought to explore all aspects of digital storytelling through her experiences working in public relations, journalism, and more. Each experience undoubtedly established her adoration for creativity and enthusiasm to cultivate change in her local community. She is very grateful to be a part of the Mixte team and is ecstatic to continue to grow her personal and professional skills in all things media relations.

Outside of work, you can find Bailey at a local farmers market or thrift shop near you!
