Journalism is Kési’s first love, but a Twitter Town Hall she organized her freshman year at Howard University for student government elections led her to discover her passion for digital storytelling and communications.
Since then she’s learned from leading communicators at agencies, civil rights organizations, and political campaigns, which led her to Mixte Communications.
From planning and executing social media campaigns to capturing historical moments, her goal is to learn how to best utilize digital platforms to tell transformational stories and build real-life communities that last.
She’s currently working to complete her undergraduate degree in journalism at Howard, and promote storytelling as a tool for social change in the Black community through her social advocacy platform Better to Speak.
When she’s not working, you can find her painting, playing guitar, eating a good meal, or watching a good sci-fi or historical drama film.
