Originally hailing from Los Angeles – where he spent his formative sports years of 1 to 7 years old – and later transplanting to the East Bay, Nathan spent his early elementary to high school years in Berkeley public schools. There, he formed the foundation to his radical thinking and love for trend-based research (along with the sport of lacrosse) which took him to Massachusetts for college (where he was captain of his DIII lacrosse team and a LEEP Fellow at Clark University).

Upon graduating, Nathan dove head first into the world of advertising and marketing, quickly rising through the ranks at various agencies and working with clients such as Planned Parenthood, Kikkoman Soy Sauce, Union of Concerned Scientists, and Nestle (he knows, an eclectic bunch). Spearheading anything PR and communications strategies and campaigns based, Nathan led clients to successful performances, and did so alongside a fiery passion for telling stories and charismatic charm.

Outside of work, Nathan enjoys reading graphic novels and traditional anime, conversing with his older and younger selves through string theory (at least he thinks he is), hyping the Los Angeles Lakers to an insufferable degree, or volunteering with the Oakland Lacrosse Club.
