Danielle S. Reed is a bilingual journalist, entrepreneur, and publicist with Bachelor of Arts degrees in African American Studies and Spanish Language, Literature & Culture from Syracuse University. Known on social media by her hashtags #DanielleSReed and #ReporterReed, she has placed clients in Good Day Atlanta, Roland Martin Unfiltered, Essence, AfroTech and HBCU Buzz, to name a few. Reed has been hired to work for brands including Def Jam, BET+, Urban One, Revolt TV, and the Trap Music Museum in Atlanta, New York, and Washington, DC over the past ten years.
Reed’s passion for philanthropy began in high school when she joined her local YMCA Leaders Club, and her passion for social justice became ignited in 2014, while she was a junior at Syracuse University and an active member of the NAACP chapter and a student activism organization called THE General Body. At the age of 23, Reed decided to start her first company called Reed Limited Entertainment, LLC also known as “RLE.” RLE is a social media and public relations agency that specializes in public relations strategy, social media management and marketing, event planning, and media relations. Reed is dedicated to amplifying the stories of Black-owned and women-owned businesses, brands and projects that improve the community.
In addition to being a publicist, Reed is also a trained TV Host and media personality who has interviewed celebrities and media giants including Vivica A. Fox, Blac Chyna, Roland Martin, Angela Yee, Soledad O’Brien, and award-winning music artists Tank, Doug E. Fresh, Erica Campbell and Lloyd. Reed is driven by her passion to diversify the television, film and media industries to represent the stories, voices and shades of all people, and she is determined to create more spaces in the news to tell stories of marginalized groups.
