Originally from the Washington DC area, Michael has spent over fifteen years working to support nonprofits, corporations, and government agencies elevate their brand and impact. He works with clients to meet their business goals, solving complex problems, taking informed risks, organizing chaos, creating compelling content, and building lasting relationships.
He has worked with organizations like the YMCA, PBS Kids, Blue Shield, The California Endowment, and the Decolonizing Wealth Project, helping them shape, refine, and develop their marketing strategies. This work instilled in Michael the importance of supporting social justice organizations in order to make our world more equitable and he carries that commitment in his role at Mixte today.
Michael graduated from the University of Maryland and is an avid lover of all things basketball. In his spare time, he can usually be found visiting local craft breweries, listening to his favorite hip hop albums, or traveling alongside his wife in search of the world’s best taco.
