Introduction
The YWCA of San Diego County empowers individuals and families to break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness to achieve self-sufficiency. With a helping media hand from Mixte, YWCA gathered hundreds of men, women and families to march in high heels for YWCA’s annual “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” event. There’s nothing better than seeing the community get together for a walk in fancy shoes and to see those stories covered in the media.
